Winter Guard has evolved over the years into a sport that is a form of dance theater. It uses flags, sabers, rifles, batons, swing flags and airblades as equipment and a mix of ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary modern dance.  It requires a lot of dedication and is very rewarding. They compete in several competitions each Winter and Spring.
